Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher

Position Overview:

As a child care professional at Momentum Early Learning, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and young children. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the development of key skills while ensuring each child's safety, well-being, and growth. We are currently looking for Infant, Twos, and Threes Teachers! Come join an amazing team of educators making a difference in the lives of our young children!

Key Responsibilities:

Create a safe, caring, and enriching environment for all children in your care Design and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to foster social, cognitive, and physical development Supervise children during all daily routines including playtime, meals, diapering/bathroom routines, nap time, and outdoor activities Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere in your classroom Engage with parents regularly to update them on their child's daily activities and developmental progress Ensure the overall safety and well-being of all children under your care at all times

Requirements:

Prior experience working with children (e.g., preschool, babysitting, nannying, daycare) Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Familiarity with state-approved educational books and child development guidelines Knowledge of child development and the ability to implement age-appropriate activities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with the assistance of a co-teacher First Aid and CPR certification preferred upon hire (must obtain before assuming the position) Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both parents and colleagues Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

Work Schedule:
