Daycare Assistant

Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction among children Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and development Engage children with age-appropriate educational games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and other interactive activities Support behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions and emotional growth Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children when needed Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and parents Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons or weekends as needed Passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through caring guidance Embark on a fulfilling career path where your energy makes a difference!
