Design and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding routines and developmental milestones. Familiarity with classroom experience or early childhood programs that support behavioral management and social skills development. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during emergencies. Working with individuals with disabilities or special needs experience is a plus for creating inclusive environments. Strong communication skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm to foster a nurturing atmosphere for every child.
