Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool and Child Care Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the developmental needs of children from toddler age through preschool. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential skills in literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional growth, laying a strong foundation for their future education. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy education, and social skills. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, classroom management strategies, and inclusive practices for children with special education needs. Foster a safe, welcoming environment by managing classroom behavior and ensuring child welfare at all times. Support early intervention initiatives by identifying developmental milestones and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Engage children in physical education activities, arts and crafts, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences to stimulate curiosity and creativity. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) when applicable. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education methodologies such as phonics or Montessori approaches. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and specialists. Previous experience working in private schools or daycare centers is preferred but not required.
