This part-time teaching opportunity is ideal for individuals who are committed to student success and enjoy sharing their academic and professional expertise in a dynamic higher education environment. Adjunct Faculty members play an important role in preparing and inspiring students through engaging instruction, mentorship, and real-world perspectives that support academic and career growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach Psychology courses in accordance with Miami Dade College curriculum standards and learning outcomes. Prepare and deliver engaging instructional materials, lectures, discussions, and classroom activities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment. Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, projects, and participation. Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, and academic records. Provide academic support, guidance, and timely communication to students. Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to support classroom instruction. Adhere to College policies, procedures, and academic standards. Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as appropriate.Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in Counseling and/or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution or. Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Counseling and/or Psychology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
