Child Development Responsibilities:
Provision and supervision of clinical psychological and neuropsychological assessment services to children through the Division of Clinical Psychology's Psychological Assessment Service (PAS) and the Mailman Center's Interdisciplinary Developmental Evaluation Service (IDES). This involves providing and supervising psychological and neuropsychological assessment services to children in PAS, IDES, as well as other programs in the Department of Pediatrics including the Pediatric Concussion Program. Working with the Behavioral Health Program initiative in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, including being part of the team and coordinating training and service activities with participating primary care pediatric practices. Participation in clinical research activities, including e.g., collaboration on projects with other faculty, assisting with the design of projects and data collection, preparation of grant applications and manuscripts, and development and implementation of original research projects for which external funding is sought. Participation in the psychology training program, involving supervision of clinical psychology trainees, including postdoctoral associates, interns, and practicum students who are rotating through PAS and IDES or other programs; by giving lectures to trainees regarding psychological and neuropsychological assessment for various clinical problems; and by participation in psychology faculty meetings regarding training program development and evaluation of trainees.
Qualifications:
APA-approved PhD (or PsyD) in clinical (or counseling) psychology and clinical internship; postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology; licensure in Florida (or license-eligible); board certification (or board eligible) in neuropsychology; relevant clinical experience with children and adolescents.
