Position Information Recruitment/Posting Title Psychology Lecturer - Summer 2026 Department Psychology Salary Details The minimum rate of pay for this role is $2,777 per credit. Posting Summary The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University invites qualified applicants to serve as Summer Session Instructors for Psychology course offerings. Instructors will teach one or more full undergraduate courses during the Summer Session, which consists of two sessions scheduled between late May and mid-August. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting course syllabi, delivering high‑quality instruction, assessing student work in a timely manner, holding weekly office hours, responding to student emails, submitting final course grades to the registrar, and adhering to all university policies, grade submission procedures, and deadlines. This position reports to the Department Undergraduate Director. Prior experience teaching large classes at the college level is desirable.
