Job Description

Position:
Psychology Teacher-Secondary Position Overview:
Ridgewood Public Schools seeks a Psychology teacher for Ridgewood High School.
Working Conditions:
Location :
Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood Public Schools Full-time, permanent position, medical benefits and pension. Salary range is $70,062-$125,242, commensurate with education and experience as per negotiated contract.
Start Date:
August 26, 2026
End Date:
June 30, 2027 plus 3 days of

Other Requirements:
New Jersey K-12 Content Certification in Psychology (with Social Studies preferably as well) Must demonstrate knowledge of NJSLS in Social Studies Must demonstrate ability to differentiate instruction and use technology to enhance instruction and assess students Must demonstrate independent initiative for professional growth Must be able to effectively communicate with teachers, parents and administrators both verbally and in writing Must be able to work collaboratively and have experience maintaining harmonious relationships with students, colleagues and parents
