SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward thinking, and engaging Psychology faculty member to join the Liberal Arts & Sciences Division beginning Fall 2026. SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. Program Development Participate in annual systematic assessment of program Participate in analyzing data and make recommendations for curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary Teaching Responsibilities Provide evidence-based instruction in accordance with the policies set forth by the College Post and keep regular office hours for the convenience of students Participate in the assessment of course, student learning, and program outcomes Incorporate student service learning opportunities Advisement Assist in advisement of students Guide and counsel students toward personal and career development Track student's completion of progression requirements Academic & Organization Commitment Serve on campus committees Mentoring Adjunct Faculty Participate in full and part-time faculty meetings Participate in accreditation reviews and reports Engage in the academic and organizational life of the college Pursue scholarly interests
Requirements:
PhD/Doctorate in Psychology or related field. The department will also consider ABD (All But Dissertation) graduate students in Psychology or related field. Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) graduate students will be appointed on a temporary basis until the degree is received. College teaching experience in undergraduate psychology courses. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to teach diverse populations Understanding the value of civic engagement and social justice Ability to teach with diverse modalities(onsite, online, hybrid).
