50% Discount for Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten Position Summary The Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology at Holy Family University invites applications for a full-time core faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in our Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology program beginning Fall 2026. The program affirms the values of respect for the understanding and recognition of the dignity of the human person. The program facilitates the development of clinicians who are able to promote psychological wellness across lifespan development for individuals, couples, families, groups, and various social systems. The training experience is thoroughly informed by the university s mission and core values, of family, respect, integrity, service and responsibility, and learning. The successful candidate should have demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education. The successful candidate will maintain a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Teaching courses in an array of courses in psychology, including but not limited to: Multiculturalism & Feminism in Counseling Psychology, Social Justice & Advocacy, and foundational theory courses Assessment & Evaluation of learners Student selection, orientation, and assessment Advising and mentoring students Service to program, School of Arts and Sciences, and University at large Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision, particularly PsyD dissertations
Education & Experience Requirements Qualifications :
Candidates must hold a PsyD or PhD degree in psychology (or a closely related field) from an APA-accredited institution.
