330556 The Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology in Duquesne University's School of Education invites applications for a non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor position in Counselor Education . Salary and terms of appointment are commensurate with a clinical assistant professor position and include a 9-month salary and benefits package. The Counselor Education Program is nationally recognized and accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The primary responsibility of the Clinical Assistant Professor position is face-to-face teaching in our Master's and PhD-level counseling programs; additional responsibilities may include student advisement and assistance with facilitation of students' fieldwork experiences, among other duties. Candidates with experience teaching in a CACREP-accredited program who hold licensure as a professional counselor (preferably in PA) and/or are certified as a school counselor (preferably in PA), have experience (ideally 3+ years) as a professional counselor and/or as a school counselor, have a strong professional identity as a counselor, and have an earned doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program by the start of the appointment are strongly preferred.
