Job Description Activities related to college teaching and learning in the field of Psychology, including but not limited to the duties listed below: Instructional planning, teaching, and evaluating associate degree students in both in-person and online courses. Assessment of student learning. Informal student advising. Maintenance of professional skills and credentials. In cooperation with department, maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes. Participation in department meetings and college-wide committees. Salary Range:
$43,067 - $98,660 Minimum Qualifications Master's degree with a major in psychology or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in psychology. Preferred Qualification Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to the mission and constituencies of a comprehensive community and technical college. Dedication to teaching and student learning providing quality education emphasizing college level standards. Commitment to studying, analyzing, and implementing learning strategies that will help students reach their education goals. Experience using teaching techniques that support diverse learning styles. Excellent interpersonal and team building skills. Knowledge and experience in the use of instructional technology, including online course delivery and classroom presentation technologies. Ability to work independently, while also functioning in a team atmosphere.
