Overview of Class:
  • Digital Literacy is a high school course designed to help students build the knowledge and skills needed to navigate an increasingly digital world with confidence, responsibility, and care.
  • Through this course, students learn how to use technology safely, ethically, and effectively in academic, personal, and future career settings.
  • Instruction includes digital citizenship, online safety, media and information literacy, digital communication, and the ethical use of technology.
  • Students also explore foundational computer science concepts such as computational thinking, algorithms, programming, and the impact of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
  • This course encourages students to think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, and become thoughtful, capable digital learners who are prepared for success in school, work, and everyday life.
Qualification:
