Title I teacher Tree of Knowledge - 4.3 Palm Beach, FL Job Details Part-time $40 - $50 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Student progress monitoring Relationship building (classroom management strategies) Classroom activity organization Student resource provision Student caseload management Teaching math Faculty collaboration Student report writing Student reading programs Student record keeping Parent collaboration Math Curriculum implementation Parent communication in school administration Instructional materials development Elementary school teaching Working with elementary school students Classroom community building Student progress notes Entry level Educational content composition projects Student academic progress tracking Learning activities preparation Full Job Description To create a flexible elementary grade Title I Reading program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for overall elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Responsibilities:
Holds caseload of Title I students Pulls out or assists students in the classroom with supplementary instruction beyond the classroom instruction. Provide pull-out/in-class supplementary instructions and interventions Evaluates the progress of all Title I students and designs and prepares student progress reports. Prepares the lessons that the students will work on during Title I time. Collaborates with school staff to identify students in need of support. Communicates regularly with classroom teachers regarding classroom instruction and needs of the Title I students. Title I teachers should keep written documentation of this communication. Develops Title I lesson plans. Serves as a resource person within their Title I building. Keep abreast of current best practice in reading/math instruction. Participate in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district.
