Part-Time Evening Bilingual Digitial Literacy Instructor Plainfield Public Library Job Category Academic-Teaching Overview Description Part-Time Evening Bilingual Digital Literacy Instructor The Plainfield Public Library is currently looking for a Part-Time Evening Digital Literacy instructor with excellent technology and communication skills to deliver in-person digital literacy courses (Northstar, IC3, and MOS) to adults. All courses will be taught in Spanish. Ideal candidates should have prior experience teaching adult learners in a classroom setting and/or leading training sessions. Candidates should have intermediate to advanced computer skills including high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office. The employee will be expected to troubleshoot basic technical issues as they arise. This is a 12-20 hr/week position. The typical work schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as needed, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. This is a grant-funded temporary position, and it pays $25/hour with no benefits.

specifically, Canvas & Microsoft Teams Creative delivery of in-person training Effective presentation and real-time communication and ability to provide feedback Troubleshooting and technical support capabilities Ability to maintain daily attendance records and course paperwork Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision Flexibility in scheduling Desirable experience, skills & attributes include: Knowledge of the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification Knowledge of Northstar Online Learning Experience with smart board technology
