Full Job Description Position Overview:
To improve the reading and writing skills of Title I eligible students and guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their individual potential for personal and professional success.

The following is a brief sample of duties that are associated with this position; it is not all inclusive: To improve Title I eligible students reading and writing skills To improve students ability to answer open-response questionsTo provide students with portfolio-worthy activities and projectsTo improve students research and writing skills through the use of technologyTo expose students to Young Adult LiteratureTo develop curriculum materials that align with the Massachusetts Curriculum FrameworksTo communicate with parents about students progress.

To work collegially with peers, administrators and other school staff.
Qualifications:
Licensed by the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Reading Instructor required or possess the minimum qualifications to be eligible for licensure
