PeaceVerse Literacy Camp Instructor - Summer 2026 Schoolcraft College - 4.3 Livonia, MI Job Details Seasonal $35 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking two (2) instructors for Summer 2026! The PeaceVerse Literacy Camp Instructor will lead a group of approximately 25 students using a curriculum developed by experienced education professionals. PeaceVerse aims to strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and classroom reading participation, while also fostering positive attitudes toward reading. The program integrates peace‑building skills designed to improve conflict resolution, empathy, respect for others, and the use of peace‑focused vocabulary. Additional objectives include supporting students' self‑esteem, confidence, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and problem‑solving skills. A key feature of the program is guiding students through the process of developing and publishing their own book.

Participation:

Two student groups, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6

Camp Dates:

Monday-Thursday, July 6-August 13
