Job Description

Sacred Heart is looking for a faith-filled and vibrant 2nd grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This candidate would be required to teach the full curriculum, along with preparing our 2nd graders for reconciliation and 1st Communion. We use the Groves teaching method for reading. Our reading coach will support new teachers and help them become certified as a Groves teacher. Teachers are supported by our reading specialist, Spanish, phy ed, music, art, and library staff. Classroom management is key to a successful school year. We have a great mentoring program in place for all new staff.
