This position requires strong curriculum and instructional experience; independent judgment; ability to prepare documents with minimal instruction; make decisions based on broad general guidelines related to project instruction and facilitation; micro and macro-level communication with private, state, and campus entities related to the project, and other responsibilities as assigned. Primary responsibilities include development and facilitation of curriculum associated with a statewide literacy teacher training workshop/course offered through the
Teacher Education Department:
one-on-one contact with Project Director (faculty) to support facilitation and development of curriculum, train new facilitators around the state on curriculum model and implementation practices; problem solve to meet deadlines of project training materials and communication; Coordination and organization of workshop schedules and statewide facilitator trainings; provide inclusive, teacher-centered adult learning opportunities in responsive cohort training model. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible nine (9) month position with an anticipated start date of August 17, 2026. Required Qualifications Master's degree in literacy or a related educational field. Work with adult learners and professional development of educators. Educational coordination and administrative support experience including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, learning management experience (e.g., Canvas), and effective interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented. Can prioritize in a multi-dimensional professional work environment. At least 3 years of PreK-6 teaching experience. Strong background in early literacy and evidence-based literacy practices. Preferred Qualifications A doctoral candidate, Ed.

D., or Ph.D in elementary or literacy education or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with university teaching experience, prior curriculum development; evidence of working with students in culturally/linguistically diverse settings; and collaboration experience between a university and community organizations such as public and private schools. Educational coordination and administrative support experience including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, learning management experience (e.g., Canvas).
