REPORTS TO
Principal
JOB GOAL
To assist in providing academic intervention in small group settings and facilitate literacy integration.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares for and implements small group activities under the supervision of a highly qualified teacher. Works with students to deliver direct instruction. Maintains confidentiality concerning student records, data and personal information. Utilizes planning time in the classroom under the direction of the teacher. Guides independent study and enrichment work. Supervises a small group of students. Assists students by providing proper examples, emotional support, and a friendly attitude. Confers with teacher concerning materials to meet students' needs. Participates in Professional Development activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
36 weeks / no more than 25 hours weekly/ $30 hourly
EVALUATED BY
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal.
