Job Description

Position Summary The Dyslexia Interventionist will provide one-on-one and small-group intervention services to students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other learning differences. No specialized dyslexia certification is required upon hire. We provide comprehensive training in our intervention programs and instructional methods. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed, enjoys working with children, communicates effectively with families, and is committed to delivering high-quality educational services. Responsibilities -Student Instruction Provide engaging one-on-one and small-group intervention sessions. Deliver structured literacy instruction using company-approved programs. Implement intervention plans for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate session notes. Create a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment. Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs. Parent Communication Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress. Provide updates, recommendations, and support as needed. Maintain positive relationships with families and school personnel. Administrative Responsibilities Complete required documentation and progress monitoring. Maintain student records and lesson plans using company systems. Attend staff meetings and training sessions. Collaborate with team members and supervisors. Technology & Organization Utilize Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and company software platforms. Manage digital lesson materials and student records. Participate in virtual sessions when needed. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Valid Teaching Certificate. Experience teaching elementary-aged students. Knowledge of foundational reading skills and phonics instruction. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor and positive attitude. Comfortable communicating with parents and families. Proficient with technology, including: Google Drive Google Docs Google Sheets Email communication Virtual meeting platforms Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation. Preferred Experience teaching reading intervention. Experience working with students with learning disabilities. Dyslexia certification or coursework. Special Education certification. Experience with progress monitoring and educational assessments.
