Job Description

Duties:
Review and analyze reading assessment data, and identify instructional needs according to multi-tiered systems of supports for students. Collaborative team member of K-6 Multi-tiered systems of supports. Develop written plan of instruction/intervention and progress monitoring for students at the Tier I, Tier II and Tier III levels linked to the Science of Reading evidence-based practices Use normed and informal assessments to measure the reading proficiency of students identified by grade level, EST and 504 teams. Meet weekly with grade level collaborative and Educational Support Teams to share findings and plan for intervention. Mentor and support colleagues in reading interventions and instruction. Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment and the school-wide effectiveness plan. Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all students Implement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies) Adhere to all District policies and regulations Other duties as assigned
