Job Description

Fair Haven Community Health Care For over 54 years, FHCHC has been an innovative and vibrant community health center, catering to multiple generations with over 165,000 office visits across 21 locations. We are seeking a part-time Exercise Instructor to teach one class an evening a week (one hour) The Exercise Instructor assumes a leadership role in the area of exercise and aerobics for adult and children patients at Fair Haven. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for exercising Share educational information with class participants Teach classes with energy and enthusiasm and motivate participants. Work with participants to ensure that they are performing exercise correctly and safely Qualifications BA in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Science or related field preferred. Experience and certifications may substitute degree requirement.
The selected candidate will be:
Well-organized, energetic and prepared to teach classes for children and adults Be in excellent physical condition to teach group exercise Possess the ability to think independently and develop routines for teaching specific exercise classes American with
