- Georgia Campus The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at PCOM-Georgia invites applications for a
full-time faculty position.
We are seeking a collaborative and innovative educator committed to
excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service within a student-centered, whole-person care
environment grounded in osteopathic principles. Position Overview
The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty team and contribute to the delivery and
continuous improvement of a contemporary DPT curriculum. Faculty responsibilities include
teaching across the curriculum, engaging in scholarly activity, advising and mentoring students,
and participating in program assessment and service at the program, campus, and professional
levels. Primary Responsibilities Teach in assigned areas of expertise within the DPT curriculum
Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and ongoing assessment
Advise and mentor students, supporting professional development and success
Engage in scholarly activity consistent with program and CAPTE expectations
Participate in program assessment, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement
Contribute to service activities at the program, institutional, and professional levels Required Qualifications Degree in physical therapy from an accredited, entry-level program
Licensed physical therapist with greater than or equal to 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
Current or eligibility for physical therapy licensure in the state of Georgia
Demonstrated effectiveness in communication, collaboration, and organization Preferred Qualifications Terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent) strongly preferred
Board certification or advanced clinical expertise
Prior teaching experience in a physical therapy education program
Record of scholarly activity or potential for scholarship
Preference will be given to candidates with contemporary expertise in any of the following
areas:
- Cardiopulmonary
- Limb loss/prosthesis
- Wound management
- Anatomy Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, education, and the responsibilities of the role.
