January 2026 Are you someone who is looking for a meaningful opportunity to shape the next generation of physical therapists while providing leadership within an academic program? Manchester University invites applications for a full-time, 12‑month, non‑tenure‑track Associate Professor of Physical Therapy to join the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program on the Fort Wayne campus. This role offers a significant opportunity for an experienced faculty member to contribute to program growth, curricular excellence, and student success through teaching, scholarship, service, and clinical engagement.
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction in assigned courses. Contribute to course and curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement. Lead or participate in scholarly activities, including research, presentations, and publications. Serve on faculty committees and participate in professional and community service. Maintain clinical competence through ongoing practice and licensure.
What You'll Need:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required; PhD, EdD, or DSc strongly preferred. Minimum six years of experience as core faculty in a CAPTE-accredited DPT program. Three years of post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy. Active or eligible Indiana Physical Therapy license. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
