This course is designed for students in health sciences, kinesiology, physics, or related health professions and emphasizes the biomechanical and physiological principles underlying human motion, with application through hands on laboratory experiences. Course Description Dynamics of Human Movement introduces the analysis of human motion using biomechanical principles, including kinematics, kinetics, forces, torques, and muscle function. The accompanying laboratory provides students with applied experience in movement analysis, data collection, and interpretation using contemporary tools and methods relevant to clinical and health professions practice.

Fall Duties and Responsibilities
Teach assigned lecture and laboratory sections of Dynamics of Human Movement
Develop and deliver course content aligned with departmental learning outcomes
Facilitate hands-on laboratory activities involving movement analysis and data interpretation
Evaluate student performance using appropriate assessment methods
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
Provide reasonable availability for student support
Adhere to institutional policies and safety protocols in the lab

Master's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Physical Therapy, Health Sciences, or a closely related field
Demonstrated knowledge of human movement, biomechanics, or related disciplines
Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred
Ability to effectively teach both lecture and laboratory components Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in a related discipline preferred
Clinical or applied experience in rehabilitation, sports performance, ergonomics, or health professions
