Position SummaryThe University of Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. The Sleep program at the University of Mexico is a multidisciplinary section and has a strong sleep fellowship program and we are seeking an academically focused applicant to join our team. This position is Open Rank, Clinician Educator. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. The University of Mexico, Health Sciences Center is the largest and only academic health complex in the state. HSC combines its four mission areas - education, research, patient care and community outreach - to provide Mexicans with the highest level of health care. The School of Medicine at HSC is celebrated for its innovations in medical education and has earned a reputation for making diversity in the physician workforce a priority. This is an amazing opportunity for innovation in teaching and providing care for both rural and urban populations from diverse cultures.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
MD or DO Board eligible/certified in Sleep medicine by date of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience/skills in providing exemplary medical care for sleep disorders primarily in adult patients; Experience in teaching residents and medical students Evidence of scholarly activities A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities Application Instructions Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
