Job Description
Responsibilities:
Establish, maintain and expand an exercise science program at a small liberal arts college. Teach a broad range of courses in exercise science, including Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology and Methods. Maintain anactive program of scholarship that engages undergraduate students. Advise and mentor undergraduate students pursuing exercisescience majors, minors, and interdisciplinary programs. Participate in service to the department, College, and broader academiccommunity.Qualifications:
Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or a related field. Experience with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accreditation. Demonstratedcommitment to excellence and inclusivity in undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting. Evidence of scholarly potential orproductivity, specifically with undergraduate students. Given the current political and fiscal climate, Westminster College doesnot sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas currently.
