Computer Science Instructor

Alabama State University, Academic Affairs, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, invites applications to fill the position of Instructor of Computer Science. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, advise students, and tutor students in various topics in computer science, and provide service to the university and community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach courses relevant to departmental needs. Facilitate and inspire learning through effective and innovative teaching methodologies Advise student about courses required for degree completion and how to formulate short-term and long-term academic and career goals Prepare and mentor student to develop academically and professionally as they matriculate in their academic programs Master's degree in the assigned teaching field from an accredited college or university, and teaching excellence and discipline related scholarly activity.
