Our staff values strong relationships, collaboration, and high expectations for all students. Position Overview Looking for a classroom where you can actually reach every student? At Westland School, our small setting allows you to make a real impact while teaching both math and science. Westland School is seeking a dedicated and flexible High School Math & Science Teacher . This position includes teaching 3 math classes and 2 science classes (Chemistry, Physics, and/or Biology based on experience).

Schedule School Day:

8:00 AM - 2:30

PM Contract Day:

7:45 AM - 3:15 PM Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in math and science Teach 3 math classes and 2 science classes (Chemistry, Physics, and/or Biology) Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Monitor student progress and use data to guide instruction Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment Communicate regularly with students and families Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development Qualifications Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required Ability to teach both math and science at the high school level Experience with Chemistry, Physics, or Biology preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Flexible, team-oriented mindset Benefits Medical insurance 401(k) with employer match up to 3% Paid sick days and time off Why Westland School?
