This position requires teaching Science and Grammar to 6th, 7th, & 8th grade students. The ideal candidate would have effective classroom management skills, STEM creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to student success. Duties Support the teachings and Gospel values of the Catholic Church Maintaining the STEM Lab Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote critical thinking. Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback. Mentor students in their academic pursuits and support their social-emotional development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional design. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding student performance and classroom activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Credential preferred or enrolled in a program. Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in copy editing and proofreading. Ability to implement classroom and behavior management strategies effectively
