100% contract General Description- Teaches skills, knowledge and scientific attitudes through courses in earth, life, and physical science.
- Demonstrates scientific concepts by use of scientific apparatus, experiments, and other instructional aids.
- Instructs students in the proper use, care, and safe handling of equipment, plant, and animal life.
- Establishes effective classroom management and student discipline systems.
- Regularly assesses students and maintains assessment documentation.
- Supervises students during recesses, lunches, and before/after school as assigned by the administration.
- Participates in regular and effective communication with parents as partners in students' education.
- Analyzes data to inform instruction.
- Actively engages SEL professional development and implementation.
- Actively participates in school enrollment management initiatives.
- Follows guidelines for fulfillment of duties as described in the Employee Handbook.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Adjunct duties.

- Salary range: $53,189 - $112,102, per the JUESD salary schedule (up to 8 years credit for teaching experience outside JUESD)
