Job Opportunity:
Science/Math Teacher Are you a passionate educator with a deep love for math and science and a desire to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated Science/Math Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on our students' lives.
Responsibilities :
Work with other instructors to develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives. Utilize various instructional strategies, including hands-on experiments, demonstrations, multimedia presentations, and group activities, to facilitate learning and cater to diverse learning styles. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore concepts, and collaborate with their peers. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth. Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and address any concerns or challenges that may arise. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in science education and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our school community.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field. Strong knowledge of scientific and mathematical principles and concepts across multiple disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.). Previous teaching experience is required. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love for science in students. About us:
We are a Private School and Learning Center in Natomas who works specifically with students who are struggling with Reading, Writing, and Math (who may be diagnosed with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia). We are currently seeking a new teacher for the Science position needed to fulfill a Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM opening in the fall. Training will occur in July and August.
Successful Teachers should:
be working towards completing or has completed a degree from a competitive University be punctual and have a reliable work ethic have excellent rapport with students and their families have clear communication skills have a positive and upbeat personality able to work with a variety of students ranging from 2nd grade through high school
