Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Adjunct Instructors deliver trades training in a variety of content areas using a wide range of media, equipment, and teaching methods. To meet the needs of our students and client organizations, Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education instructors have relevant workplace/professional experience and bring real world knowledge into the learning environment. This position prepares and provides all lecture and laboratory instruction in one or more trade related workforce training areas. Areas of education focus include but are not limited too; Aviation, Construction, Environmental, OHSA/FEMA, Manufacturing, Water and Wastewater, and Supply Chain.
Required Qualifications:
Five years of prior-related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Appropriate licensing, credentials, and/or certifications are required to teach particular content areas. Five years or more of facilitation, teaching, or consultation experience
Supplemental Job Information:
The College is seeking applicants to teach part-time for upcoming semesters. Applications will remain actively on file for one year. The position requires the following responsibilities: Classroom/online expectations to arrive 15 minutes before the class begins Classroom/online maintenance is of the utmost importance Classroom/online management to ensure all students meet their learning objectives Complete required Canvas LMS information including attendance, evaluations and grading by the end of the course Training methods are appropriate to the course curriculum Provide instructor-led delivery and on occasions webinar delivery Prepare students by providing expertise in applicable certification exams Prepare students to acquire the skills necessary for a career in the trades workforce. Contribute and/or develop curriculum for new courses.
