MAD SCIENCE & IMAGINE ARTS ACADEMY
| South area (Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Rock) Summer Camp Instructor | Mad Science of Colorado $21/hour + mileage | Early June through early August | Paid training We're Mad Science of Colorado, and we run hands-on science camps for kids ages 4-12 at rec centers across the Denver metro. We're also the sister company of Imagine Arts Academy of Colorado, which runs creative arts camps at many of the same locations. This summer we're looking for enthusiastic instructors to join both programs. If you're flexible and open to teaching both science and arts, you'll have access to more camp weeks and more earning opportunities. You don't need a science background to apply. We provide full curriculum, all materials, and paid training before your first day. What we need from you is energy, reliability, and genuine experience working with kids.
What the job looks like:
Camps run Monday through Friday, early June through early August. You don't have to be available every week, but when you're scheduled you need to commit to the full week. Half-day and full-day options are available depending on the camp. In weeks where no camp is scheduled at your location, there may be weekday workshop opportunities at schools or community sites, paid a fixed $50 for 1 hour workshop. Who we're looking for: 19 or older Real experience working with kids (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camp, childcare, etc.) Reliable car and valid driver's license (you'll drive to your camp site) CPR and First Aid certification Someone who shows up prepared and makes the day genuinely fun for the kids What you get: $21/hour Mileage reimbursement Paid training before your first day Flexible schedule, not every week is required Workshop shifts available in lighter weeks ($50/workshop) This posting covers camps in the south metro area, including PACE Parker, Trails Rec Center, DCL Lone Tree, Castle Rock Rec Center. Friday Pay:
$21.00 per hour Application Question(s): Our camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm for full weeks at a time, between end of May and early August.
