Coding Teacher Scratch & Python

At Best Brains Middletown , we believe coding is a foundational skill for the future. Our mission is to empower young learners by teaching them to think creatively, solve problems, and build confidently with technology. We offer beginner-friendly programming courses tailored to students. We are seeking a passionate and engaging Coding Teacher to teach students in grades 2-10 using Scratch and Python . You will receive a fully developed curriculum and teaching materials to guide each session. Your role is to bring the content to life, make it fun and accessible, and support each student's growth and curiosity.

Middletown The ideal candidate is Comfortable working with children aged 7-14 years Proficiency in Scratch and Python Excellent communication and classroom management skills Enthusiasm for technology and education Reliable and organized with a professional attitude Able to multitask and work with up to 5 students at a time Available Monday, Thursdays and Friday evenings Available for Summer day camp (optional) Primary duties are Teach coding lessons using a provided curriculum in Scratch and Python Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment Adapt instruction to different learning styles and skill levels Provide feedback to students and communicate progress to parents as needed Support project-based learning and help students showcase their work There is no need to develop lesson plans. A comprehensive curriculum and teaching materials will be provided. We offer consistent hours and competitive pay. This is a year-round position and you must be available for the following days and times: Monday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursdays 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Summer camp
