Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our STEM Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their academic goals. General Responsibilities
  • Educate students while promoting critical thinking and creativity.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets state standards and addresses the diverse needs of students.
  • Support students by providing guidance, support, and encouragement to enhance their learning experience.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on educational best practices and integrate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators in instructional design to enhance teaching strategies and student engagement.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and promotes positive interactions among students. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study; teaching certification preferred.
  • While Saint Mark's High School is a Catholic School, candidates need not be Catholic in order to be considered for this position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to successfully complete/pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
