Our private high school is seeking a dynamic Lead Engineering and Computer Science Teacher to join our expanding Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a forward-thinking engineering and robotics program that encourages creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world application.

Responsibilities and Duties/ Essential Job Functions:

Teach engaging Engineering and Robotics courses at the high school level Lead hands-on STEM projects, competitions, and innovation initiatives Develop curriculum aligned with modern engineering and technology practices Mentor students in robotics clubs, competitions, and design challenges Collaborate with a growing team of science and STEM educators Help shape the future vision of our expanding STEM department We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.

Teachers are expected to:

Demonstrate a growth mindset toward instructional technology and AI. Incorporate digital tools to enrich instruction, differentiate learning, and support student success. Model ethical, responsible, and transparent technology use for students. Performs other duties as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department. It is essential for the Employee to arrive on time to work every scheduled work day. It is essential for the Employee to maintain good attendance and give ample notice, when possible, when Employee will be absent. It is essential for Employee to speak to co-workers with respect and to follow all of the requirements and expectations in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Science or Enigneering with a Master's degree highly preferred. Passion for STEM education and student-centered learning Experience in engineering, robotics, coding, fabrication, or related fields Ability to inspire curiosity, innovation, and leadership in students Teaching certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Experience with robotics platforms, CAD, programming, or makerspaces is a plus Salary based on experience.
