Job Description

Job Overview Kiomy's Elite Academy is seeking dedicated, passionate Math and Science teachers for grades 6-12 to join our vibrant, faith-based private school community as Fully Bilingual Teachers (6-12). In this dynamic role, educators will inspire and guide students across Middle to High school grade levels within a nurturing Christian environment that promotes both academic excellence and spiritual growth. Bilingual proficiency is essential, as teachers will serve a diverse student population and foster strong communication with students and families. Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, managing classrooms effectively, assessing student progress, and supporting each student's individual academic and personal development. Teachers will also help create a positive, faith-centered learning atmosphere that reflects the values and mission of Kiomy's Elite Academy. This is a paid position and offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives while working in a collaborative, supportive, and purpose-driven educational setting.
Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and faith-based principles for 6-12 students. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Design creative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and special education strategies to meet diverse student needs. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Assess student progress regularly through standardized testing, formative assessments, and provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, academic advising, and integrating faith-based values into daily lessons. Support students with autism or special needs by adapting teaching methods and providing individualized attention when necessary. Proofread student work and assist with classroom activities that promote childhood development and early childhood education principles. Performs other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the school.
Skills:
Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively connect with students, parents, and staff. Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with children across various age groups. Knowledge of curriculum development, standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques, and literacy education best practices. Familiarity with learning technology platforms such as LMS systems and digital tools for remote or blended learning environments. Ability to work effectively with students who have diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education or behavior management support. Teaching Certification or 1-2 years of experience in private school settings or early childhood education environments is highly desirable. Available to teach all subjects. Expertise in teaching physical education, childhood development strategies, and integrating faith-based values into instruction. Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities, academic advising sessions, and educational administration tasks. Work Hours:
