Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION
Kaleidoscope School of Discovery is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated High School Science Teacher to join our expanding faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position works with high school students, delivering rigorous and engaging science instruction within a differentiated learning environment. We are looking for an educator who can inspire scientific curiosity while adapting instruction to meet each student's individual needs and goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and deliver differentiated science curriculum for high school students across relevant science disciplines Create hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that foster critical thinking and scientific reasoning Maintain a safe, organized, and well-managed classroom and laboratory environment Monitor and assess student learning through varied and meaningful assessment methods Individualize instruction to support students with a range of learning profiles and academic levels Partner with colleagues and administration to support school-wide academic goals and initiatives Maintain regular communication with students and families regarding academic progress Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community activities
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior classroom teaching experience required; high school science instruction experience strongly preferred Experience developing and implementing differentiated curriculum for diverse learners Strong classroom management skills with an ability to maintain an engaging and structured learning environment Solid knowledge base in one or more science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, etc.) Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree required; degree in Education, Science, or a related field preferred Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
