The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons in various scientific disciplines, including research and chemistry. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting academic excellence among students. The Science Teacher will play a crucial role in developing students' critical thinking skills and encouraging their curiosity about the natural world. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach various science subjects, including but not limited to biology, chemistry, and physics. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Provide academic advising and support to students, guiding them in their educational journey. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events. Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Knowledge of academic advising practices to support student development. Experience in private school settings is preferred but not required. Proficiency in specialized science topics such as research, chemistry, physical science, and biology. Excellent proofreading abilities for preparing instructional materials. Understanding of differential equations as they relate to scientific concepts is a plus. Familiarity with library services to enhance research skills among students. Background in education administration to contribute to school operations effectively.
