Valor Classical Academy (VCA) is a tuition-free, public charter school located in Kuna, Idaho opening August 2026. VCA's mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility. VCA provides teachers with a quality curriculum, regular professional development, and a professional network with ongoing support. VCA offers an excellent professional culture, competitive salaries, and employee health, dental, and vision coverage at no cost to the faculty member. This role requires a strong foundation in core academic content, including areas such as atomic structure, chemical bonding and reactions, cell division and genetics, evolution, and key mathematical concepts such as algebra, ratios, percentages, and geometry involving volume and surface area. Prospective teachers should possess a strong academic background, good character, a passion for learning, and a desire to educate the next generation of citizens. Idaho law enables charter schools to certify their own teachers, so teacher certification is not required for initial hire.
