Responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions specified by established appointment and promotion criteria, including teaching and service to the school and community. #

Mission Engagement Actively engages in the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University by modeling the Franciscan Values, promoting justice from the communities we serve, and integrating the Catholic and Franciscan intellectual traditions in courses, programs, and services. Academic Prepares instruction that reflects stated course student learning outcomes Construct classroom materials that support the goals of the course Prepare thoroughly for each instructional hour; Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance, post grades in a timely manner Teaching Implements curricular and instructional interventions Develops student learning outcomes Utilizes peer review and coaching Applies what has been learned from formative and summative feedback on instruction Engages in professional development activities to promote development in the scholarship of teaching and learning Advising Reflects on summative students' evaluation of academic advising experience Assesses reports and perceptions of peers and others regarding fidelity to academic advising roles and responsibilities Contribution to role-related knowledge base Presents at local, state, national and international professional conferences Demonstrates publication of works identifying type (i.e., peer review), audience (i.e., journal and journal distribution), and focus (i.e., discovery, application and/or integrated knowledge focus) Professional Service Participates in local, state, national, or international professional agencies Community Service Actively participates in community groups and organizations, as related to the College's mission Institutional Service Participates in committee work at the program, school, or institutional level (delineate roles and nature of participation) Student Engagement Advises students through feedback, coaching, remediation, and engagement Other Duties as Assigned Other duties as assigned or required
EXPERIENCE
At least one (1) year of teaching experience
EDUCATION
Master's Degree and successful completion of 18 credit hours Graduate study in the specific discipline
SPECIAL SKILLS
Strong organizational and communication skills
