High School Science Teacher - Long Term Sub Randolph Public School District - 2.4 Randolph, MA Job Details Full-time $250 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Engaging lesson design (student motivation techniques) Mid-level Working with high schoolers Curriculum implementation Teaching science Classroom behavior management Full Job Description Long term substitute position from May 11, 2026 through the end of school year, June 22, 2026. The Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate is: $250.00 per day for Days 1-20, $307 for Days 21+The ideal candidate will teach the following courses: Principles of Biomedical ScienceBiologySenior CapstoneThe Randolph High School Long Term Sub Science Teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.

Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.

Plan and deliver effective and engaging instructionPromote equity and appreciation of diversityMaintain classroom managementPromote high standards and expectations for student achievementProvide rigorous instruction aligned with the MA Common Core Practices and StandardsPerform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Building Principal and/or Department Head
