Qualifications:

• Deliver engaging science instruction aligned with Grade 8 standards and the SciEd curriculum
• Plan and facilitate hands-on laboratory activities that promote critical thinking and inquiry
• Prepare lab materials and ensure safe, effective implementation of experiments
• Guide students in scientific writing, including lab reports, data analysis, and evidence-based conclusions
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods
• Maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and continuous improvement Experience teaching middle school science preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; Valid Massachusetts Certification required in General Science 5-8
