Aug 27, 2026 Job Description Worcester Technical High School is soliciting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant will be accountable for teaching students the Advanced Manufacturing and CAD Mechanical Drawing Chapter 74 Career Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) state frameworks and curriculum disciplines with particular focus on mechanical CAD and CAM drawings.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
(to be included along with other responsibilities) 1 Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental curriculum objectives and competencies. 2. Responsible for the integration of the department's curriculum where appropriate. 3. Performance of other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Massachusetts DESE Chapter 74 teacher's licensure in Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 9-14 or ability to be licensed. 2. SEI Endorsement 3. Bachelors Degree 4. Evidence of mastery of a wide variety of teacher competencies and the understanding of instructional techniques. 5. Three years of full-time employment experience directly related to marketing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Advanced educational preparation. 2. Evidence of educational leadership. 3. OSHA Trainer 4. Evidence of good human relation skills. 5. Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs 7. Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese or an African Language. 8. Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition

Salary scale shown is based on the candidate meeting the requirements for Vocational Level 1. Potential to increase based on Vocational Educator Licensure and vocational credits.
