In this role, you will utilizing kinesthetic learning and project based learning in a STEAM framework to inspire 2.5 to 6 years old learners. As part of our pedagogy, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that foster curiosity critical thinking and problem solving ideology. Your expertise will help cultivate a positive classroom environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As a key member of our teaching team, you will utilize the curriculum K-4 (Knowing in the Fourth Dimension). This curriculum infuses innovative teaching strategies, incorporates learning technology, and supports diverse learning needs to ensure every child maximizes their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys while collaborating with fellow educators committed to excellence. Our theme is We Touch Eternity Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in STEAM, integrating innovative teaching methods and learning technology tools. Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, positive behavior management, and respect among students. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing (Torrence Tests of Creative Thinking)and informal assessments. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention strategies. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and sharing best practices in literacy education, physical education, and early childhood development. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, behavior management plans, and progress reports. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education techniques, and classroom management strategies. Proven classroom experience working with children across various age groups in early childhood or elementary settings. Demonstrated expertise in teaching STEAM concepts effectively to young learners through creative activities and hands-on experiments. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology into daily instruction. Strong communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents or guardians. Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management techniques, and working with individuals with autism or other special needs is highly desirable. Prior experience in private school environments or Montessori settings is a plus.
