Full Job Description Part-Time Computer Science Teacher Catholic Central High School Grand Rapids, MI Start Date:

We are seeking a part-time Computer Science teacher who is passionate about technology, innovation, and helping students grow academically, personally, and spiritually. This part-time position, beginning in the 20262027 school year, is rooted in our mission to develop servant leaders for a Christ-centered life. Youll join a faculty and student body that are curious, collaborative, and eager to be challenged a community where strong relationships and shared mission make this both a professional and vocational home.

What Youll Do
  • Teach Computer Science courses that may include introductory programming, computer applications, coding, or other technology-related coursework
  • Create an engaging and challenging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving-Support students in developing computational thinking and real-world technology skills
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and growth
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and school initiatives
  • Contribute positively to the broader school community through involvement and relationship-building Who You Are
  • Passionate about teaching and working with high school students
  • Knowledgeable in computer science, technology, coding, or related fields
  • Organized, collaborative, flexible, and relational in your approach
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
  • Teaching experience preferred
