Science Teacher - Metro Schools College Prep
DESCRIPTION
Metro Schools College Prep is a public charter school located in North Minneapolis. We are looking for a passionate and innovative teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the following proficiencies:
Required Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota teaching license in teaching area or the ability to obtain by start date Bachelor's Degree in one of the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Earth Science)
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years teaching experience Capability to individualize and differentiate education Strong commitment to ensure the academic performance of each student Experience with EL learners Skills for setting, monitoring and meeting individual and school-wide goals Strong classroom management skills Application of successful strategies for parent engagement Excellent team and individual communication skills Proven experience with a diverse student body
