We are seeking an energetic and passionate High School Science Teacher to inspire and educate students in a vibrant academic environment. This role offers the opportunity to design engaging lessons, foster scientific curiosity, and support students' academic growth across various science disciplines. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for science education and a commitment to nurturing diverse learners. Develop and deliver comprehensive science lessons aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative instructional strategies and learning technology. Design and implement laboratory activities, including dissection, microbiology experiments, and molecular biology research, ensuring safety and educational value. Assess student progress through tests, projects, and standardized assessments; provide constructive feedback and tutoring as needed. Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating an inclusive environment that encourages inquiry and collaboration. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating science research into classroom activities. Mentor students in scientific research projects, science fairs, and extracurricular activities to foster their curiosity and skills. Maintain accurate records of student performance, lesson plans, and laboratory supplies; ensure compliance with safety protocols. Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field; higher education teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of science disciplines including biology (cell biology, genetics, biochemistry), chemistry (organic chemistry), physics (trigonometry, calculus, differential equations), and mathematics (algebra, geometry, discrete math). Proven classroom management skills with experience working with diverse student populations. Proficiency in learning technology tools for instruction and assessment; experience with instructional design is a plus. Laboratory experience in dissection, microbiology techniques, molecular biology methods, and research laboratory procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, mentoring, and collaboration with staff and families. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational research best practices. Experience working in private or public school settings; knowledge of special education strategies is advantageous.
